Welcome to Stockholm International Queer Tango Festival 24-26 May 2013. Here we provide some suggestions for accommodation during the festival.

There are several lodging options within 500 meters of the festival venues. For example 2kronor Hostel, Interhostel and City Backpackers.

An alternative is STF Fridhemsplan, located along the same subway line as the festival venues.

The festival takes place in the city district Norrmalm, close to the border of Vasastan. The city part Kungsholmen is also a good area in Stockholm to stay at, 10-20 minutes from the festival venues with subway or bus.

For those with limited economical possibilities to attend the festival we will try to help to find private free lodging among the tango dancers. This alternative is very simple so be prepared to share room and maybe sleep on a sofa or mattress. You might also have to bring a sleeping bag and a mattress. This alternative is also probably outside the city center with maybe 30-45 min travel time or more. We will try to help you after registration and payment so please make a preliminary booking for lodging at a hostel or B&B in case we cannot find a sleeping spot matching your needs.
