package (C) Intermediate/Advanced level
Register!
The idea of this year´s workshops is to give you something fun, playful, challenging and useful which will spice and add musicality to your dance. The content of the workshops is the same for all levels (from advanced beginners to intermediate/advanced). We advance from simple to more advanced exercises and steps so couples can choose and practise on a level comfortable and also challenging for them. We encourage partner changes within the same level. You can sign up without partner and you will practice with participants on your own level if possible. |

Tango de Barrio!
Playful and creativel tango in mirror position!
Workshop with Sergio Segura and Matthew Grubler
Tango de Barrio is a very characteristic style created on the outskirts of the city of Buenos Aires. This playful and creative form of tango revives the beauty of mirror-image steps inspired on the everyday life of the 30s to 50s. In this unique workshop, leaders and followers will learn "tango in mirror position" which consists of symmetric and interchangeable steps between the two roles, originated in old male practices while enjoying the flirtatious musicality and peculiar dynamic of this style.
